About MSC PTA

The PTA works to provide parents with an active voice at MSC. We play a vital role in building a strong school community by supporting students, teachers, and families. We help make MSC better for everyone by creating opportunities, building connections, and supporting our kids and teachers every step of the way!

All parents, step-parents, legally appointed guardians, foster parents, and persons in parental relation to a child attending P.S. 333 MSC are automatically members of the PTA.

Enhancing Communication And Community

The PTA serves as a bridge between parents, teachers, and school leadership — sharing updates, answering questions, and helping families stay informed and involved. We also help new families feel connected from day one — offering guidance and opportunities to get involved right away.

Supporting Teachers/Staff & Advocating for Students

We help make sure our educators have what they need to succeed. That includes classroom supplies, recruiting class parents/volunteer help, and appreciation events to show our collective gratitude. We also collaborate with MSC administrators to advocate for a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.

Fundraising And
Event Planning

We organize fundraisers throughout the year to help fund essential programming and school resources — whether it’s enrichment programs, classroom supplies for every student, technology upgrades, or field trips. The PTA also organizes seasonal festivals and teacher appreciation events, helping to create memorable experiences that bring our beloved community together. Some of our marquee events are the Fall Fest (Oct), Broadway Loves MSC (Jan or Feb) and the Spring Fair (May).

Volunteer
Coordination

We help organize and recruit volunteers for all PTA and MSC events, from bake sales to supporting the Greenhouse, ensuring things run smoothly throughout the school year.

Contact Us

The PTA Executive Board meets the first Friday of every month to conduct school business, discuss projects with the administration, and review any standing committee projects.

We hold general meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. These meetings are an excellent place to ask questions, voice concerns, offer feedback, and find out what's happening and how to get involved. We encourage all families to attend these general PTA meetings.

"It is with gratitude and humility that we acknowledge that we are learning, speaking, and gathering on the ancestral homelands of the Lenape (Lenapehoking) who were violently displaced as a result of European settler colonialism over the course of 400 years. The Lenape are a diasporic people that remain closely connected with this land and are its rightful stewards. We pay honor and respect to their ancestors past and present as we commit to building a more inclusive and equitable space for all.”
